Chocolate sauce Recipe Gluten-free, dairy-free (casein-free) and hypotoxic

YIELD: 335 ML (1 1/3 CUPS)



ORGANIC INGREDIENTS

  • 65 g (1/4 cup) plant-based milk substitute *
  • 120 g (3/4 cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) margarine *
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) vanilla extract

PREPARATION

  1. In a small saucepan, combine all the ingredients.
  2. Heat on low while stirring constantly with a whisk, until the chocolate is melted and the sauce is hot.
  3. Remove from heat and let rest 5 minutes, which allows the sauce to slightly thicken before serving.

* If you are not on a dairy-free diet, replacing the plant-based drink with cow's milk is an option as well as using butter instead of margarine.
