Maple Syrup Grand-Pères Recipe Gluten-free, dairy-free (casein-free),
hypotoxic and vegan

ORGANIC INGREDIENTS
Dough:
- 140 g (1 cup) all-purpose flour "La Merveilleuse"
- 10 ml (2 tsp) baking powder
- 1 ml (1/4 tsp) salt
- 125 g (1/2 cup) plant-based milk substitute
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) light olive oil
- 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) vanilla extract
Sauce:
- 640 g (2 cups) maple syrup
- 250g (1 cup) water
PREPARATION
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add plant-based milk substitute, oil and vanilla. Stir with a wooden spoon until smooth (the dough will be quite thick).
- In a large saucepan, bring maple syrup and water to a boil over medium heat.
- Using a spoon, place the dough in the boiling liquid (about 15 ml / 1 tablespoon of dough per serving).
- Cover and keep the heat to a minimum.
- Bake for 15 minutes without removing the lid, then remove from heat.
- Let rest for 5 minutes, then serve.
