Maple French toast Recipe Gluten-free, dairy-free (casein-free) and hypotoxic

ORGANIC INGREDIENTS
- 3 large eggs (165 g)
- 210 g (2/3 cup) maple syrup
- 5 ml (1 tsp) vanilla extract
- 8 slices of gluten-free bread from Cuisine l'Angélique
- Olive oil and plant-based margarine*, for cooking
- Purée of fruits or fresh fruit, to taste
PREPARATION
- For soft and absorbent bread slices, thaw in the microwave (or in a conventional oven, wrapped in aluminum foil **)
- Soaking liquid: In a medium bowl, stir all ingredients with a whisk.
- Brush a non-stick pan with oil and melt a little plant-based margarine in it (the combination of the two fatty substances prevents sticking and allows better cooking).
- Dip 1 slice of thawed bread at a time, a few seconds on each side, to soak thoroughly in the dipping sauce. Place it in the pan.
- Cook on both sides over low heat to prevent the bread from burning. Turn over when golden brown. Repeat steps 2 and 3 between each cooking.
- Serve with fruit puree or fresh fruit, to taste.
