Freshly grated nutmeg has a completely unrivalled taste. In addition, this spice contains other nutrients: calcium, copper, iron and zinc.
Turmeric is known for its preventive and healing properties. High in antioxidants, it is an excellent ally for digestion and helps reduce inflammation. Several studies show that it could also help prevent cancer and contribute to its treatment. Ideally, it should be combined with black pepper to maximize its benefits. Black pepper contains piperine which increases the bioavailability of curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric.
