Apricot jam Recipe Gluten-free, dairy-free (casein-free) and vegan.

PORTIONS: 2 SMALL JARS



ORGANIC INGREDIENTS

  • 390 g (3 cups) apricots in light syrup, drained
  • 80 g (1/4 cup) maple syrup
  • 1,25 ml (1/4 tsp) powdered agar-agar

PREPARATION

  1. In a small saucepan, combine all the ingredients.
  2. Bring to a boil. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. During cooking, using a fork, break up pieces of apricot little by little.
  4. When finished cooking, to have a smoother jam, grind the mixture with a potato ricer.
  5. Pour the jam into the little jars and refrigerate. Note that the jam will thicken during refrigeration.
