ORGANIC INGREDIENTS

  • 335 g (1 cup) maple syrup
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) apple cider vinegar
  • 1 large clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 7,5 ml (1/2 tbsp) Dijon mustard
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) sesame oil
  • 0,5 ml (1/8 tsp) ground cloves
  • 0,5 ml (1/8 tsp) ground ginger
  • 1 package gluten-free sausages (375 g)
  • Green onion (optional)

PREPARATION

  1. Using a whisk, in a medium pot, combine all the ingredients except the sausage and green onion. Bring to a boil.
  2. Meanwhile, cut the sausages into small pieces.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium, add the sausage and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
  4. Stir frequently to make sure the syrup doesn't stick to the bottom.
  5. Remove from heat, cover, and let rest for 10 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken a bit.
  6. Serve with cut green onion sprinkled on top (optional).
