Maple praline nutsRecipe Gluten-free, dairy-free (casein-free), hypotoxic and vegan

YIELD : 375 ML (1 1/2 CUP)
ORGANIC INGREDIENTS
- 250 ml (1 cup) nuts, to taste (almonds*, pecans, walnuts)
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) maple sugar
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) maple syrup
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) olive oil **
- 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) sea salt
- Additional maple sugar, for garnish (optional)
PREPARATION
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
- In a large skillet, mix together the maple sugar, maple syrup, olive oil and sea salt.
- Stirring constantly, heat the mixture. As soon as the maple sugar has completely melted, add the nuts.
- Continue cooking over medium heat, stirring constantly, until completely caramelized (the excess liquid will evaporate).
- Place the nuts on the parchment paper using a spatula. If desired, sprinkle with maple sugar. Let cool completely.
