Air Fryer Crab cakes Recipe Gluten-free and dairy-free (casein-free).

ORGANIC INGREDIENTS
Crab cakes :
- 400 g cooked crab meat or gluten-free surimi, chopped
- 1 large egg
- 65 g (1/2 cup) all-purpose flour "La Merveilleuse"
- 30 g (2 tbsp) mayonnaise
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) cilantro, chopped
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) chives, chopped
- 5 ml (1 tsp) old-fashioned Dijon mustard
- 1 ml (1/4 tsp) smoked paprika
- 1 ml (1/4 tsp) pepper
Mayonnaise :
- 125 g (1/2 cup) mayonnaise
- 7,5 ml (1/2 tbsp) maple syrup
- 2,5 ml (1/2 tsp) curry powder
- Sriracha sauce, to taste
PREPARATION
- In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the crab cakes.
- Using your hands, make patties from this mixture. Place the patties on the greased grill of the air fryer.
- Lightly baste the tops of the crab cakes with oil, then cook at 200 °C (392 °F) for 10 minutes, flipping the patties half-way through.
- Meanwhile, combine the mayonnaise ingredients.
- Serve the crab cakes with the mayonnaise.
Crunchy on the outside, creamy inside, great taste in every bite!
VARIATION
If you don't have an air fryer, you can cook the patties in a pan or even in the oven.
