Fryed onion rings Recipe Gluten-free, dairy-free (casein-free), hypotoxic and vegan

ORGANIC INGREDIENTS
- 280 g (2 cups) all-purpose flour "La Merveilleuse"
- 10 ml (2 tsp) paprika
- 5 ml (1 tsp) garlic powder
- 10 ml (2 tsp) sea salt
- 2,5 ml (1/2 tsp) ground pepper
- 375 ml (1 1/2 cups) ginger ale
- 2 large white onions
- Frying vegetable oil
PREPARATION
- In a large bowl, mix 210 g (1 1/2 cups) of La Merveilleuse GF flour with paprika, garlic powder, sea salt and ground pepper.
- Add ginger ale and whisk until mixture is smooth.
- Let batter rest at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, peel onions and slice them into 2 cm (3/4 in)-thick rings.
- Place rings on a tray and sprinkle with the remaining 70 g (1/2 cup) of La Merveilleuse flour.
- Pour 5 cm (2 in) of frying oil in a large saucepan and heat to 190 °C (375 °F).
- Dip onion rings into batter and shake off any excess.
- Fry in small batches for 3 minutes. Flip for even browning.
- Remove onions ring from frying oil with tongs and place them on a wire rack to drip.
- Season with salt, to taste.

SPICY DIP SUGGESTION:
Mix together:
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) mayonnaise
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) ketchup
- 5 ml (1 tsp) hot sauce of your choice
- Pinch of salt
