Cuisine L’Angélique’s gluten-free and organic breads, recommended Radio Canada’s “L’Épicerie” weekly TV show

Meilleurs choix de L’épicerie

On February 2, 2017, on Radio-Canada’s “L’Épicerie” show, we learned that over seven million Canadians consume gluten-free products, either for health reasons or as a dietary choice.

Nutritionist Marc Bélanger conducted an extensive review comprising over 50 gluten-free breads.

The fibre and whole grain content were two of the determining factors for this analysis. Most GF breads do not use whole grains, which is a key source of dietary fibre. Ideally, the fibre content of a 35 g slice of bread should exceed two grams.

Only three brands met those standards, among which, and to our great satisfaction, was Cuisine L’Angélique!
