Organic olive oil

Cuisine L’Angélique uses cold-pressed organic olive oil as its sole source of fat.  

Olive oil is known for its cardiovascular health benefits as it mostly contains monounsaturated fatty acids. Unlike saturated fatty acids (found in meat, cheese, butter, etc.), monounsaturated fats from olive oil reduce LDL or “bad cholesterol” and help prevent blood clotting, both protective factors against cardiovascular disease.

Olive oil is rich in antioxidants (such as vitamin E and polyphenols), which may reduce cardiovascular disease rates and slow down aging. It contains oleic acids that stimulate bile production and ensure the proper functioning of digestion.

For the highest nutrition standards, our organic, gluten-free and dairy-free breads and muffins are all baked using olive oil as the only source of fat.
