About Omega-3

We often hear about Omega-3’s and their health benefits. What are they exactly?

As part of the essential fatty acids family, Omega-3’s are not synthesised by our metabolism. For a regular intake, they must be included in our diet.

Omega-3s are polyunsaturated fatty acids that promote blood circulation and mental health. They may contribute to lowering blood pressure and may also have anti-inflammatory properties.

Flax is the richest plant-based source of Omega-3’s.

Our breads, muffins, pie crust mix and waffle mix are prepared with high quality ground flaxseed. They are all excellent and delicious sources of Omega-3’s!
