Choco-Apple Patties Recipe Gluten-free, dairy-free (casein-free),
hypotoxic and vegan

ORGANIC INGREDIENTS
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) chia seeds
- 250g (1 cup) applesauce
- 60 g (1/4 cup) water
- 65 g (1/3 cup) light olive oil
- 10 ml (2 tsp) vanilla
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) flaxseed
- 140 g (1 cup) all-purpose flour "La Merveilleuse"
- 30 g (1/3 cup) cocoa
- 110 g (1/2 cup) cane sugar
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) hemp seeds
- 5 ml (1 tsp) baking powder
- 5 ml (1 tsp) ground cinnamon
- 1 ml (1/4 tsp) salt
- 40 g (1/2 cup well-stocked) chopped dried apples
PREPARATION
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
- Finely grind chia seeds in a coffee grinder. In a bowl, combine ground chia, applesauce, water, oil and vanilla. Let rest for 10 minutes.
- Finely grind flaxseed in a coffee grinder. Combine ground flax, flour, cocoa, cane sugar, hemp seeds, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
- Stir the dry mixture into the liquids and stir well with a wooden spoon. Then add the dried apples and mix well.
- Spoon onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten with a wet fork to form patties about 3 inches in diameter.
- Bake on top rack for 25 to 30 minutes. Gently remove the patties with a spatula and allow to cool on a wire rack.
Nutritive and delicious, each patty contains 3 grams of fiber, 2 grams of protein, while being a source of 10 essential nutrients.
