Gluten-Free Playdough

ORGANIC INGREDIENTS
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) all-purpose flour "La Merveilleuse"
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) brown rice flour
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) table salt
- 12.5 ml (2 1/2 tsps) cream of tartar
- 250 ml (1 cup) hot water
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) vegetable oil
- Food color dye
PREPARATION
- In a medium saucepan, combine all-purpose flour, brown rice flour, salt and cream of tartar.
- Add hot water and oil and stir briskly with a whisk.
- Color to taste and stir again.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the dough forms a ball in the pan. You'll really see the texture transform as you cook!
- Allow to cool on the counter (to speed up the cooling, I shape the dough into a roll about 10 inches long).
